PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Introducing “Linda,” a 2018 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue that has been meticulously reimagined to create an incredible vintage-authentic experience. This guitar features a lightweight mahogany body, a two-piece figured maple top, and a vintage-accurate C neck profile. Its features include hide-glue construction, a long neck tenon, a set of RetroSpec Aged ThroBak KZ-115 PAF Humbuckers, and historically accurate hardware and plastics from the RetroSpec line of custom-made parts.

Every makeover has a story, and this one is no different. From the first time we saw Linda, we knew it would look amazing in a vintage faded cherry burst. That, combined with a beautifully hand-picked Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, makes this guitar truly an amazing piece.

The Real Deal Series from Historic Makeovers represents their most comprehensive and vintage-accurate restoration, bringing Custom Shop Les Pauls even closer to the original late-’50s Bursts.
